The place of large mammal flesh as the central component in the human diet is creating food scarcity because bovines use more food than they produce. But our ancestors didn't scrape and claw their way to the top of the food chain just so their descendants could devolve back into herbevores, a.k.a. prey. So don't go vegetarian, go entomophagarian:

My review of 9/11:
Attack on our country is an old story line, and pretty simple to remember. An attack on the country by an inhuman monster from without is countered by a brave leader assisted by temporary emergency powers that get extended. The attack is connected to many different enemies in many different countries and used as a basis for invasion. Seeing Bush play Brave Leader in the re-make is a wierd twist, he just doesn't convey the same dignity as the original, though the special FX are way more advanced than in 1933.
In the old German version, a building is simply burned down while empty. This new Hollywood remake features 2 of the tallest buildings in history being completely demolished in mid afternoon while crowded with people.
In the old German version, Brave leader and his crew are eventually defeated and in the end it turns out that brave leader was behind the initial attack. This is also the case in the re-make, though the "exposure" is drawn out in bits and pieces and never stated outright, the fact is obvious to the audience and appears to be obvious to the main characters throughout, but in a brilliant comical running gag that makes up for the cheap, boring and redundant emotionalism that saturates the story, all of the main characters, including those playing opposition politicians and even those playing media, pretend not to notice the many glaring inconsistencies in their own discussions of the main event and so, though everybody knows he did it, Brave Leader is never openly accused of anything.
Lack of originality besides, Kudos are due to the directors for the excellent marketing campaign, which began long before production even started. The choice of date, and the subsequent naming of the event after the date, was brand naming genius, 911 already being a household word associated with major emergencies.

For the Bush-Bin Laden business partnership, this was certainly a redeeming project that more than made up for their failed oil field ventures of the 70's and 80's.

Worth watching, though, come to think, you don't have a choice but to watch it.
