Founded in 1996 by vocalist/drummer/guitar player Daniel, a.k.a. Joybuzzard and guitar player Ty, Ecoabios has existed occasionally ever since.

Recorded by Ecoabios in Daniel's basement with much appreciated help from Dave Solar.
The original 100 copies of the Necessity tape were made on artist Clifford Johnson's dubbing deck, and Clifford wrote the liner notes by hand on each tape which resulted in carpel tunnel syndrome so thanks to him too.
